Ambergris Kaye-Belize

Not sure this is the right place to post this, but geographically seems within reason. Hear this place is beautiful, whats the American Communities like, beaches at them and such. Looking to head down there this January or February, any input is as always appreciated.

Great place, nothing in Cost Rica can compare to that Island in Belize, but take plenty of quid, cause it aint cheap

Spent a little more than a week there two years ago, did not like it at all. Never felt 100% safe in the town. I have definitely been to nicer places in the Caribbean. Beaches were awful, good fishing, mediocre snorkling, not a big party scene, supposed awesome diving (?). I don't plan on going there again, however I would highly recommend the condo resort we stayed at (can't remember the name, but if you want I can look it up). Enjoy
